In honor of national Drinking Water Week, which runs from May 5, 2024 – May 11, 2024, Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is opening the Water Treatment Plant for public tours. On Wednesday, May 8th, tours will run every 15-minutes between the hours of 4:00PM and 6:00PM. There is no need to register for a tour, just come to the Plant at 1323 South 7th Street between that timeframe. We’ll be handing out a flyer that explains the treatment process, the first 150 guests will receive a branded water bottle, and you’ll get a behind-the-scenes peek at the treatment process behind your quality drinking water! We look forward to seeing the community.
