Myaccount.mpu.org is a user-friendly, all-encompassing portal that allows you to make payments, set communication preferences, view billing history, analyze metered usage data, and more. This portal combines both our previous payment portal and previous MyMeter usage portal into one.

Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) experienced multiple power outages throughout our service territory that affected approximately 1,100 customers on the afternoon of Sunday, May 17th. A downed tree caused a feeder lockout for the majority of the affected customers, which was restored quickly. The remaining outages were scattered and more complex involving many downed lines, broken poles, and tangled trees.

In honor of national Drinking Water Week, which runs from May 3, 2026 – May 9, 2026, Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is opening the Water Treatment Plant for public tours. On Thursday, May 7th, tours will run every 15-minutes between the hours of 4:00PM and 5:30PM.

Customers with past due balances could face disconnection of their utility service unless payments are made to clear the past due amounts or payment arrangements are established, if eligible.
