Power Outages Sunday, May 17th

Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) experienced multiple power outages throughout our service territory that affected approximately 1,100 customers on the afternoon of Sunday, May 17th. A downed tree caused a feeder lockout for the majority of the affected customers, which was restored quickly. The remaining outages were scattered and more complex involving many downed lines, broken poles, and tangled trees.
