Manitowoc Public Utilities Honors Commissioner Luckow and Welcomes Commissioner McMeans

Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) honored former Commissioner, Dave Luckow, at the MPU Commission meeting on Monday, January 23rd, for his 22 years of service on the MPU Commission. Luckow has been a dedicated and committed commissioner helping lead the strategic vision and operations of MPU. Commission President, Dan Hornung, said “Dave was a tireless advocate for our rate payers and used his expertise and insight to guide our operational strategies. We will all miss his input at the Commission and wish him well.”

While the Commission honored Luckow, they also welcomed new Commissioner, Scott McMeans. McMeans is the Vice President of Operations for Doneff Companies, LLC; a local property management and development company. He brings to the Commission over 30-years of business experience and served for 12-years as an alderman on the Manitowoc City Council. McMeans completed his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Toledo and Masters in Business Administration at Rutgers University and Lakeland College.
