This full-time water department position primarily involves duties that include the control, operation, and maintenance of the state-of-the-art Microfiltration Water Treatment Plant and related production facilities, and maintenance and repair of the water distribution system and related facilities. Working hours are primarily first shift, with occasional second shift and weekend work. Minimum requirements to apply include completion of a two-year associate degree supplemented by technical school courses in the water field. The possession of a WDNR Operator Certification in Groundwater, Distribution, or a Subclass S Surface Water certification from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is preferred.

The Power Pant Assistant Operator is a non-exempt postion. The minimum requirements nclude high school diploma, strong mechanical background and excellent physical condition. Technical degree or applicable power plant experience is preferred. This position is required to work a rotating shift.
