The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of secretarial, administrative, customer relations, record-keeping and internal and external communications/publication tasks. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The candidate must possess an Associate’s degree supplemented by administrative and secretarial training. Independent judgment is required in establishing or adapting work procedures to new situations and in performing varied administrative services for all utility departments.

Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is seeking applications for the position of Mechanical Engineer. This full-time position provides professional engineering work in connection with the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of steam power generation facilities, water treatment plant facilities, and electric distribution facilities. Minimum requirements to apply include Bachelor’s degree from an engineering school of recognized standing with major work in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering; progressively responsible experience in professional engineering work; or any equivalent combination of experience or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; possession of a license to practice as a Registered Professional Engineer recognized by the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing or ability to obtain within one year is preferred. Starting salary for this position will range from $52,910 at the Associate level to $85,100 at the Senior level.
